So far, Richie Rich has proved to be the most colorful fashion designer whose creations we have photographed in Fashion Week 2010.
Not just in relation to his color choices for his latest collection on display in front of an eager audience here in NY, but he definitely delivered the most theatrical runway show, reflecting his intent to inject fun into his designs and his shows.
Starting out with a ballet dancers, who were followed by a DJ and a violinist, the show took off and revealed 2 collections and the first model to walk for Richie was Ice T’s wife CoCo. Right at the end of the second collection, Ellen Degeneres walked the runway and struck some fierce poses trumping Zoolander’s “Blue Steel” signature pose.
