Tomorrow, December the 10th 2011 will be the third Help-Portrait and bit will be my first time participating, and I look forward to creating memories for these families who would never have this chance otherwise.

Founded in 2009 by celebrity photographer Jeremy Cowart, Help-Portrait is a growing group of photographers across the world who join forces once a year to give back to less fortunate members of their local communities . In a recent article on CNN, they described  it as “Photographers to ‘give,’ not ‘take’ portraits”

The idea,

find someone in need, take their portrait, print their portrait and deliver them.
